Later, it's said that Sahan territory has the highest vampire population growth, this matches Sahan's role for God. When briefing about Sahan, Euntae elaborates his research to Hayan when it's said that each Angel of Death's territory have its own vampire population growth. In the end, Lucian able to defeat them all in just a few days and acquire the Angel of Death role and drink God's blood. This last territory is a very brutal area with many powerful vampire wants the Angel of Death role and the vampire's war to get the role has been started for years. Then, it's told that Lucian takes the last Angel of Death role by defeating or conquering all powerful vampires in the area. Prior to fighting Hayan, Lucian backstory is shown where he's initially a half-blood vampire that acquire his enormous power. The goon recommends the new recruit to just bow and pass anytime he meet an Angel of Death. This vampire able to commands huge amount of vampire and able to destroy one city. In his elaboration about Angel of Death, Lucian's goon mentioned there are six Angel of Death, each dominates and controls all vampires in six territories of Korea. The Angel of Death is first mentioned on Episode 6, where Lucian's new recruit is being briefed by Lucian's goons. It is shown that any vampire who requests to be an Angel of Death but that God deems is not worthy of the title, will be killed violently by God himself. However, an Angel of Death's power is usually challenged by some vampires where they can attempt to seize it, for example an UFC Champion turned vampire that challenged Lucian or the Daejeon vampire gang that challenged Sahan.Īfter the demise of some members of Angel of Death, God didn't replace the roles, simply because there are no worthy candidate yet. After chosen by God, the member will drink God's blood that will enhance their power and start serving God. As implied by Lucian's backstory, Angels of Death is chosen gradually by God, where its said that Lucian is the latest Angel of Death. At some point of time, God created Angel of Death by gradually choosing extra-ordinary half-blood vampires.
